We had some time and figured to head towards Nara and looping back that train line to Osaka. There wasn’t much exploring in Nara, besides one of the temples. At the end of Nara’s old street is a long chain of temples, one has a golden Buddha and remains the most popular. Besides the temples, Nara does have this old town charm.
