Visiting Himeji Castle was one of my life goals, maybe because it was in Simcity. Anyways it truly is a beautiful castle, but unfortunately it is undertaking renovations which will not be complete for several years. I was lucky to see it in 2010, because now the entire building is covered with a white tarp with a picture of what the castle looks like. It will not reopen till at least 2015.
